National Accreditation Commission
This accreditation has been awarded to only 1,300 programs throughout the United States and Department of Defense Overseas. Early Explorations and Early Explorations Too are both proud to have obtained this prestigious award of quality that promotes professionalism and program quality across 6 primary focus areas: Administration, Family Engagement, Program Health & Safety, Curriculum, Teacher-Child Interactions, Classroom Health & Safety.
Gold Circle of Quality
ExceleRate Illinois is a statewide quality recognition and improvement system designed to make continuous quality improvement an everyday priority among early learning providers. The program establishes standards for helping infants, toddlers and preschool age children develop intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. It provides a framework for early learning professionals to identify opportunities for improvement, increase their skills and take steps to make positive changes.
By achieving the highest level in this quality recognition system, Gold Circle programs have met the highest quality standards in three areas: learning environment and teaching quality; administrative standards; and training & education
Awards
Illinois State Board of Education Preschool For All Program
We are a pioneer in implementing the Preschool For All program within a childcare setting. Establishing this state grant award in 2001, Early Explorations/Early Explorations Too were amongst the first childcare centers in the state to receive this award of program enhancement and quality, which is typically only found in school districts throughout Illinois. We are honored to be entering our 20th year of this award to provide half-day preschool services, free of charge, to children who qualify through a screening process.
